Generally, with our 1250L photobioreactors, we suggest starting by inoculating 20L carboy into 200L water.
- In a semi-continuous cycle, Industrial Plankton photobioreactors measure density and add more media every time that density is reached. As such, they grow exponentially.
- We automatically and constantly add media as needed to the photobioreactor in a continuous cycle. For example, if you set your flow rate to 5L to 20L per hour, the photobioreactor will bring the density to full in 3 to 5 days.
