Traditional algal culture techniques are unreliable and labour & space-intensive. Our photobioreactors make algae growth simple by automating routine tasks.

Algae grows incredibly dense in our PBRs’ custom-designed high surface area sealed tank and it stays clean as everything entering the PBr is sub-micron filtered.

We use high power LEDs specifically designed for algae which increase growth rate and sustain high density cultures.

Graphing and data logging is displayed on the screen letting you track and optimize culture’s growth in real-time. And the touchscreen PBR can be accessed from anywhere in the world from any wifi enabled device Close-loop pH control keeps algal cultures stable and mitigates one of the biggest causes of culture crashes and set point can easily be adjusted.

The integrated temperature control allows the PBR to be installed in a wider variety of environments as it can heat or cool the culture to your set point, whichever is needed based on ambient temperatures.

Automated scale-up and harvest minimize labour and add reliability throughout the entire culture process.

When it’s time to change the culture, the automated Clean-In place spray system saves time and labour cleaning and sanitizing the tank and ensures that the culture environment is pristine for your new inoculum.
