Middle Eastern Aquaculture Conference

Robert Roulston, CEO of Industrial Plankton, attended the Middle Eastern Aquaculture Conference last week in Dubai. Robert had the opportunity to tour Sheikh Khalifa Marine Research hatchery in Umm al-Quwain. The hatchery is a world class facility and a major initiative by the Ministry to boost the regions aquaculture capabilities.

The 2nd Middle East Aquaculture event (MEA 2016) has been created to benefit industry professionals working in the Middle East, to gather aquaculture experts from the Middle East and to show the latest innovative products at the exhibition.

The organizing committee invites the academic Aquaculture experts, Middle East producers/farmers, suppliers, and other industry professionals to the DWTC, Dubai, UAE to attend this event.

Activities will include specific topical industry sessions and technical sessions (conference). The focus of the MEA 2016 is targeted towards the most important industry issues affecting key Middle East aquaculture producing countries. It is a true aquaculture conference whereby timely topical and regionally relevant sessions are tailored to enhance scientific & industrial representation and participation.

Canadians at Middle Eastern Aquaculture Meeting

Some of the MEA 2016 topics discussed at the conference will be: Barramundi, Grouper and other marine species; Shrimp and Specific focus on RAS and New Species in the Middle East and many more.
